The school being blessed with a vast population, the staff works hand in hand with the prefects to promote discipline and sanity in the school.

Prefects are elected through a free and fair process, from across the school. The role of superintending the election process, training and coordinating the prefects is done by the school’s Domestic Office headed by the Senior Lady and Senior Man. The Prefectorial body comprises:

For a distinct look, the prefects put on long sleeved white shirts with a navy blue skirt/trouser and coat.

ROLES OF PREFECTS IN SCHOOL

  • Act as a bridge between principals, teachers and students.
  • Help teachers to maintain quality class control in an effort to enhance a condusive reading and learning environment.
  • Oversee all activities of the school.
  • Keep vigilance on other students within and out of the school.
  • Maintain appropriate dress code of the students.
  • Act as role models to their peers.
  • Counsel and guide the peers towards positive discipline.
  • Collect feedback from their peers and make suggestions on school development plans during their meetings with the Administration.
  • To ensure that students uphold all the values of The Catholic Learning Institution.
